Playing in the California state championship game at Haas Pavilion last month, he knocked down a free-throw with 0.8 seconds remaining to give his team a victory over four-time defending champion Mater Dei (Calif.).
Now, Cal fans are hoping that the supremely talented big man can continue his winning tradition as a Golden Bear.
