The heart-warming video posted by xdaiz, has been watched by over a million people.

The 18-year-old daughter can be seen hugging her emotional mom, who is most likely crying happy tears. You can watch the video here.

The cabin crew member added audio to the video: “Surprising my mom who hates flying on her flight.”

A gobsmacked mom then puts her hand over her mouth before being greeted on board with a hug from her daughter.

In the comments, Daisy revealed her plan worked as her mom “felt so much better and wasn’t even scared! I am glad I got her over her fear.”

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a non-profit American academic medical center, aerophobia, the fear of flying, is very common. It affects more than 25 million adults in the U.S. Psychotherapy can usually help people overcome their fear and fly without extreme anxiety or panic attacks.

It isn’t clear why the mom in the video has a phobia of flying, but the clinic’s website state a number of reasons why people are afraid to fly including fear of heights, turbulence, claustrophobia, and more.

There are a number of ways to treat aerophobia such as exposure therapy, which gradually exposes you to places, thoughts, or situations that relate to air travel.

There is also cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping you change the way you think about flying. It might include learning about how planes work or reviewing safety statistics for air travel versus other forms of travel.

But for less severe phobias, sharing your anxieties with loved ones and learning breathing techniques could reduce the fear you feel when traveling.

For this mom, having a daughter who knows her stuff when it comes to flying put her mind at rest.

The “cute” footage has gained a lot of attention online and even made some users feel emotional.

While another wrote “This was just the best moment!! Thank you for making it so so special!…. her face !! Bless her.”

Others have complimented the air hostess and called her a “sweet” daughter.

Another said: “This is brilliant and you and your mum are both gorgeous.”
